Industrial & Warehouse

Industrial Overview

In the last 20 years, Wylie has transformed from primarily a small industrial town to a bustling bedroom community. The growth of the retail and housing sectors are warmly welcomed, but developers have slowly acquired a majority of the large undeveloped tracts of land. With that said, the majority of the available industrial properties are less than 5 acres with the exception of a 500+ acre tract owned by The Kansas City Southern Railway Company and served by state-of-the-art intermodal operations and classification yard. Additional light industrial properties are available in the Regency Business Park, Premier Business Park, and 544 Industrial Park, with the WEDC-developed Premier Business Park nearly built out.

Spec Buildings & Local Developers

Local developers continue to build flex space (or office/warehouse facilities) in Wylie. This product is still in high demand and we have several projects coming online in the next few months.

The WEDC also has an inventory of lots ranging from ½ acre to 10 acres which may be available depending on your project specifications.  Please contact WEDC staff directly to discuss these opportunities.

Large Buildings & Contiguous Acreage

Companies that require larger tracts of land are asked to contact the WEDC office directly. Our staff will set up a meeting to discuss your needs and to determine how we can best facilitate your project.
