In celebration of Wylie's expanding retail and manufacturing businesses, the Wylie Economic Development Corporation (Wylie EDC) has decided to create a holiday gift guide this year to promote Wylie businesses and product offerings.
"We have some amazing products offered by retailers and manufacturers right here in Wylie, Texas," stated Jason Greiner, Executive Director of the Wylie Economic Development Corporation. "With supply chain issues being front and center this holiday season, we want to make it easier than ever to 'shop local' and support area non-profits", he added.
In order to be considered for the gift guide, you must have a registered business that paid taxes in 2020 that is based in Wylie or serves the residents of Wylie. You must offer a giftable product or service that can be purchased online through your website, or in person at your location. You must also be able to provide us with a high-resolution image of your product or service (no logos). Non-profits must have a 501(c) designation and offer a giftable product or the ability for someone to make a donation in someone's name.
The Discover Wylie 2021 Gift Guide is open to both retail, service, and non-profit organizations free of charge. If you do not have a professional, high-resolution product photo, we have coordinated a low-cost mini photo shoot with a professional photographer for local businesses and non-profits. The charge to each business will be $100 for 3 professional images of your product that you could use for the guide as well as your own advertising, website, and social media. You will need to have your product delivered to the photographer in downtown Wylie by November 8th.
