Collin Small Business Development Center

Are you starting a new business or trying to grow your start-up? The Collin SBDC is an excellent resource for strategic business consulting. Through its partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration, the State of Texas and Collin College, the consulting is provided at no charge to residents of Collin and Rockwall Counties. Additional (low and no-cost) workshops and seminars are scheduled to help your business succeed.

Smith Public Library

Wylie residents can use the Small Business Center to access numerous research databases, eBooks/Audiobooks, and conduct popular catalog searches. Reference USA, EBSCO, TexShare, OverDrive and OneClickDigitial are all available for free with a Smith Public Library card.  The Small Business Center has you covered for information on topics ranging from start-ups, entrepreneurship, business plans, home-based businesses, success in business, patents, small business law, and management.

Wylie Area Chamber of Commerce

The Wylie Area Chamber is your local solution.  The voluntary organization offers various platforms for members to connect with local businesses and citizens through publications, networking opportunities and community events.  In addition to the Chamber’s primary function, it also offers a local Leadership Program and Legislative outreach both locally and in Austin.
