Wylie, Texas – May 1, 2025 - The Wylie Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) is pleased to announce that Executive Director Jason Greiner has earned the Certified Texas Economic Developer (CTED) designation, awarded by the Texas Economic Development Council (TEDC) in partnership with Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX). Greiner is among the first twelve professionals in Texas to complete the CTED program, having fulfilled all coursework and peer-reviewed requirements to earn the designation.

CTED graduates will be formally recognized during the TEDC 2025 Annual Conference on October 30, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas, where they will receive their official designation and CTED lapel pin.
