Wylie Intermodal Terminal

Canadian Pacific Kansas City’s (CPKC) 500-acre distribution park opened July 9, 2015. The Wylie Intermodal Terminal serves as the hub of connectivity for rail as far north as Canada and as far south as Central America. With more than 20,000 track miles, CPKC is one interchange away from all major markets in North America.

CPKC services eleven ports in the Gulf of Mexico, two Pacific Ocean ports, two Atlantic Ocean ports, six ports amongst the Great Lakes as well as more than 115 transload centers and 19 intermodal ramps. CPKC also provides 181 interchange points with other railroads, including all United States, Canada, and Mexico Class 1 railroads.

Capacity

The annual lift capacity is 342,000 twenty-foot-equivalent units and the facility has 9,400 feet of working classification track.

Available Space

The $64-million Wylie Intermodal Terminal has a ±362-acre greenfield site well suited for light industrial/assembly and distribution build-to-suit projects with a cumulative capacity of approximately 2 million square feet.  With nearby access to U.S. 75 and Interstate 30, the Wylie hub is well positioned to serve all north, south, east, and west markets and provides the best opportunity for significant industrial growth.  The Wylie Economic Development Corporation is prepared to access local, State, and Federal programs for the development of infrastructure and assistance packages.
